Tap virtuoso, Tony Coppola, is a former All American gymnast with a degree in music and an extensive professional career. He was one of Donnie and Marie Osmond’s dancers and toured the world with them for several years. He was on faculty as the tap teacher for Tremaine Conventions for twelve years while also performing as a tap soloist. He was on the faculty of the Colorado Ballet in Denver as the director of the jazz department. Capezio honored Tony by having a tap shoe named after him, an honor of which Tony is very proud. Currently, he teaches the tap program at Don Mirault’s Theater Arts Preparatory School. Tony directs and choreographs his own ensemble, the Coppola Rhythm Ensemble, in their show “Kickin’ It!”
